To whom it may concern:
My wife and I went out for a date night last Thursday, February 4th around 6:00pm and through we would visit your Olive Garden here in Minot for Dinner. When we arrived we sat in the bar due to the length of time it would have taken to get a seat in the restaurant side.
Our waitresses name was Angel who did a great job when we arrived and greeted properly. I ordered a glass of water with Lemon, and soup was the Minestrone, and the Stuffed Chicken Marsala. I drank my glass of water, and ate the soup, however the soup was lukewarm which did not taste bad, on third or fourth spoonful, however, my stomach started to bloatgassy, with severe pains. I did not think anything of it at the time, however, I, had no idea this was the onset of food poisoning. Once I received the main course, I was feeling worse. My wife had ordered Diet coke, Zuppa Toscana soup, and Tour of Italy with the new shrimp pasta, and did not have any issues.
We got back home around 7:40pm which my stomach was worse. I took two tums, but my stomach pain continuously got worse, and I started to get really dizzy. I had to go to the bathroom and threw up all of my meal which made me feel better, however, only for about ten minutes. I ended up having to sit up elevated with covers on me while I am wearing full sweat pants and sweatshirt due to chills that ended up getting worse, as well as, continuous stomach pain that got worse. I ended up in the bathroom five more times to throw up before the food was completely out of my system.
I ended up having to use a sick day on Friday due to the lack of sleep and the pain I was in from eating at your restaurant. I believe I got the food poisoning from the lemon in the water or the soup. Regardless of which part, we will never go back to another Olive Garden due to the lack of concern you have with your customers well being and your attention to detail of cleanliness and food preparation. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Gas, Dizziness, Sweating, Stomach Pain, Bloating, Chills
