Had dinner with a party of 7 in all on Saturday 3/19/2022. We started eating dinner around 6 pm. Approximately 45 minutes later toward the end of dinner one of the females in our party (who had eaten some of the calamari and shrimp appetizer and main course was the lobster roll) became faint, with hot flashes and began to perspire, went into state of unconsciousness and had a seizure. Within a few minutes of this happening, the same thing happened to me. I had also eaten some of the calamari and shrimp appetizer and my main course was a Caesar salad with salmon. Both the lobster roll and the Caesar salad come with lettuce, tomato and cucumbers. When I came to, the paramedics had arrived. The ill female in our party had vomited and was feeling better but I was in bad shape with dangerously low blood pressure, pale skin color and fading in and out. Paramedics began to administer IV fluids and took me to hospital emergency room. I felt better upon arriving at the hospital. My blood pressure was normalized and all other vitals and ekg were normal. I explained to the attending ER how myself, and another member of our party, became ill within minutes of each other and he thought that was very suspicious and most likely a foodborne illness. After approximately 90 minutes of observation, and a trip to the bathroom with diarrhea to expel what I had eaten, I was released. I am one of the healthiest people I know, so this was a very scary experience. Apparently the restaurant has had a number of inspection violations recently.
