Salad Reaction: Cramps, Rash - Outback Steakhouse, Arlington Virginia

8 years ago reported by user-jkkn7463 business

Outback Steakhouse, 1st Street North, Arlington, VA, United States

4821 1st Street North, Arlington, 22203 Virginia, United States

I ordered a cobb salad at Outback last week with only eggs and cheese as the protein (no bacon or chicken), the salad had iceberg lettuce which I rarely eat. I'm sure it was either the lettuce, cheese or dressings that made me sick, but could have been the bread or butter. The first dressing was very sweet and too tangy tasting and just tasted really bad. So I ordered the blue cheese dressing. Within 15 minutes of leaving Outback, I had really bad stomach cramps, abdominal pain, and watery diarrhea. We were down the street at Target -- and I had to run to the restroom which was really horrible; my girlfriend who was with me was fine after having a salad and a steak. We both had the brown bread with butter so that could also have been the cause as I rarely eat that type of bread since I am mostly a organic only bread consumer. My right hand broke out with a red rash, and I did go to urgent care and got a topical steroid creme Triamcinolone Acetonide Creme USP 0.5% -- I rarely ever break out with Psoriasis but I'm sure the meal was the cause of this reaction, as I rarely ever get sick after I eat. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Skin Rash, Cramps, Stomach Pain
