201 East Central Texas Expressway, Harker Heights, 76548 Texas, United States
Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, ChillsSuspected source: not sure
Onset: 4 to 12 hours
Duration: 12 to 24 hours
Additional information: Wife and I both purchased meals around 9:30pm. Both meals had fried rice, chow mein, and honey walnut shrimp. Mine also had honey sesame chicken and broccoli beef, which we shared, and hers had orange chicken that we shared and teriyaki chicken that only she ate. She finished all of her food. I finished all of my entrees and most of my chow mein but only had a few bites of my fried rice. I work the graveyard shift and noticed some discomfort toward the end of my shift, but it didn’t get bad until around 5:45am (as I was about to drive home from work). My wife said her stomach started feeling off before I got home, and her symptoms got bad after I’d been home a while - probably about 7:30am. I’ve been cramping and had diarrhea since ~5:45am (14h and counting) but the nausea subsided a few hours ago, and that’s as far as my symptoms went. My wife is experiencing the same symptoms but more intense, as well as vomiting and chills, and it doesn’t seem to be easing up for her yet. This could be due to my immune system being stronger than hers, but it could also be that she ate more of the contaminated food(s) than I did. If she does not improve by tomorrow morning I will be taking her to the hospital. EDIT: No one else in the house is sick. This is the only food in at least a week that was eaten only by the two of us. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills
