Thanksgiving Ham Illness Outbreak - Boar's Head, Tallahassee Florida

4 years ago reported by user-fmhht717 business

Publix Super Market at Oak Valley Shopping Center, North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL, USA

5810 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, 32303 Florida, United States

Not sure. 11 adults and 2 children got symptoms in 2-3 days. It happened 2 days after Thanksgiving. We think it was the Boar's Head ham that we served as is, ie, we didn't reheat it. We also had a marinated vegetable salad, pineapple, rolls, and condiments. Almost everybody at that meal got sick and nobody else at other meals we attended that day got sick. We wanted to get the ham tested, but the lab said they didn't take samples from individuals, only businesses and institutions. | Symptoms: Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Fatigue
