Location: Tenerife, SpainDate of meal: Monday 8th September, 20:00
Restaurant food: Seafood pizza (prawns with shell and digestive tract, mussels, squid, tuna)
Symptoms: Within 2 hours, I developed abdominal pain and loose stool. By the next morning I had severe stomach pain, bloating, dizziness, sweating, and vomited undigested mussels. I slept most of the day, unable to eat. Symptoms partially improved, but when I tried eating again (Wednesday morning), I vomited a second time and still have nausea and umbilical tenderness.
Timeline:
2 hours after eating: stomach pain, diarrhoea.
12 hours after eating: severe abdominal pain, sweating, dizziness, vomiting.
36–48 hours after: ongoing nausea, second episode of vomiting, abdominal tenderness.
Outcome: Still unwell but improving slowly. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Bloating, Dizziness, Sweating
