Report date: Aug 7, 20255. Procedures for responding to vomiting and diarrheal events
- comments: found no vomit and diarrhea clean up kit on premises as required; must provide and maintain. Instructed to provide a vomit and diarrhea clean up kit to use in the event of a vomit and diarrheal incident on premises. Priority foundation violation 7-38-005 issued.
37. Food properly labeled; original container
- comments: observed food storage containers on shelf in rear prep area not labeled; instructed to label containers with the name of the product inside of the container.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed evidence of mice on premises. Found 50 or more mouse droppings on premises on the floor by the two cooler in the rear prep area, on a storage container on the shelf in the rear prep area, on the floor under storage shelves and prep table in the rear prep area. Instructed to clean all areas and have pest control company service prior to reinsepction next week. Priority foundation violation 7-38-020(a) citation issued.
47. Food & non-food contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed & used
- comments: observed some gaskets at three door coolers worn; instructed to replace gaskets where needed.
49. Non-food/food contact surfaces clean
- comments: the following in need of cleaning: interiors of refrigeration units, interior of walk-in cooler, exterior surfaces of cooking equipment, area under grill, bottom area of fryers; instructed to clean all and maintain. Also clean pipes connected to fryers to remove grease.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: a foul odor was noted from standing water inside and outside of the walk-in unit. Instructed to clean floor inside of cooler and outside of cooler and maintain. Clean floors under and around all other kitchen equipment and storage shelves as well as sinks and maintain.

- comments: observed a small hole in the wall under the three comp sink in the corner area; instructed to seal hole.
56. Adequate ventilation & lighting; designated areas used
- comments: found the vents in the hooded system above the cooking equipment in need of cleaning; instructed to clean and maintain.
57. All food employees have food handler training
- comments: instructed that all food handlers must obtain the required food handler training.
61. Summary report displayed and visible to the public
- comments: no inspection summary posted as required. The previous inspection summary (march 24, 2023) was not posted as required in plain view of customers. Instructed that summary must be posted until the next routine inspection. Priority foundation violation 7-42-010(b) issued.
62. Compliance with clean indoor air ordinance
- comments: found a pack of cigarettes on the top shelf of the prep table in the front prep area. The person in charge removed them. Instructed that no evidence of cigarettes, ashtrays etc can be on site. A citation 7-32-020(c) was issued.
