Raw Burger Causes Salmonella - Smokey Bones, North Wales Pennsylvania

In February of 2022 we ate there and my 3 year old daughter ordered a hamburger. When putting her leftovers in a to-go box I noticed that the meat was raw, pinkish grey, mushy, raw. Two days later she started with diarrhea, by the end of the week she had blood in her stool and a fever of 103 and nearly unresponsive. We took her to a doctor and then to the ER and she was finally transported by ambulance to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she stayed for 4 days and was diagnosed with salmonella. It was incredible my hard on her and very expensive for our family and the restaurant is denying responsibility. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Bloody Stool
