Hummus Suspected in Illness - Sprouts Farmers Market, Corpus Christi Texas

3 years ago reported by user-fcxq9739 business

Sprouts Farmers Market, Airline Road, Corpus Christi, TX, USA

1440 Airline Road, Corpus Christi, 78412 Texas, United States

On may 24th I bought numerous groceries. I didn't eat that day until I had these groceries, through out the evening I had 2 carrots, 2 celery sticks, 4 cherry tomatoes, black garlic hummus from Hope, two nectarines, an orange and Harvest dried snap peas. I'm not sure what caused this reaction, but I suspect it was the black garlic hummus, it seemed more watered down than typical hummus but it was my first time having it so I ate it anyway. At 4am I woke up to sudden extreme nausea violent vomiting and diarrhea that continued until 10am the next day (I threw up about 10 times). I had a mild fever of 100.6, chills and sweats on the 25th along with weakness and couldn't help but sleep the entire day. It's day three and the symptoms have mostly subsided, now it's mostly heart burn. I think it was the hummus because if I smell anything that reminds me of the hummus I start to feel nauseous again. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Weakness, Chills, Sweating
