Inspectors found ongoing pest problems during the inspection. A previously cited significant food safety violation had not been corrected: inspectors found live cockroaches in prep, dishwashing, and storage areas after earlier reports noted live roaches in the facility. Inspectors also observed more than 50 trapped roaches and roach carcasses in the kitchen and dining areas, as well as gaps under exterior doors that could allow pests to enter. A citation was issued.Other significant violations involved previously cited issues that had not been corrected, including a damaged walk-in freezer door, dirty cold-holding gaskets, grease buildup on cooking equipment and nearby surfaces, and dirty floors in prep, dishwashing, storage, and basement areas. A citation was issued for these repeat violations. Additional findings included knives stored between prep tables, condensate water draining into a plastic bucket, damaged floor tiles and missing grout, and dirt buildup on ventilation covers.
