Enchilada Illness from Sampler - Taco Cabana, League City Texas

My wife and I ate at Taco Cabana and shared a Cabana Sampler plate which had rice, beans, beef taco, cheese enchilada, chicken flauta, lettuce, guacamole, and flour tortillas on The night of Jan 8th, 2018. I was the only one who ate the cheese enchilada, and became ill about an hour later with lots of gas and gastric pain which got worse overnight. My wife was only mildly ill since she didn’t eat the enchilada. Luckily I had some pepto bishop tablets which I ate two and after about an hour the top of my tongue turned black indicating I had been food poisoned. Recovery took 2 and a half days which eventually included a daylong bout of diarrhea. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Gas
