I ordered 2 of the Shrimp Baja tacos during rush hour, about 6:30pm on Friday (8/11/23). I got my order to go and ate 1 taco in my vehicle in the parking lot. The taco tasted great, however, only a few minutes after eating, my stomach felt off. I just went about my evening despite feeling a bit off. By Saturday morning, I was greeted with burning stomach pains and sweating which turned out to be diarrhea. It seems to me that there may of been cross contamination of some kind because they were rushing to get orders during the rush hour time or there is an issue with the storage and/or cooking of the shrimp. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Sweating, Stomach Pain

Symptoms don’t typically happen right after. Think back in lunch or breakfast.

Hi, thanks for your comment. TIP: If the contamination is chemical or physical, symptoms can start within minutes. If it is biological contamination, it can start as fast as 30 minutes (e.g. Staph). Other types of contamination can take longer, it all depends on what it was, but it can be fast. Have a great day!
Thank you iwaspoisoned Support, for clarifying and educating the community in the specifics of food poisoning. As you stated, food poisoning can definitely occur while you are eating the meal (contaminated) and can happen suddenly. It can be very scary.
