Chana Masala Suspected Illness - Trader Joe's, Roseville California

3 years ago reported by user-jvwvb226 business

Wednesday, 9/14/22, Chana Masala, vegetable samosas, and garlic naan. I think it was Chana Masala and the strain was Clostridium sp. due to my symptoms (diarrea, abdominal cramping and pain, nausea) and due to the time frame (I ate my first meal at 11:30AM, started feeling ill around 5:30PM, then ate the leftover contaminated food at 6:00PM the same day). I believe it is the Chana Masala because those items were the only items I ate that day. Additionally, Clostridium proliferation occurs when food is held at unsafe temperatures at long periods of time, such as in an open freezer where the item was stored.
