Goat Cheese Pasta Illness - Trader Joe's, Vancouver Washington

7 years ago reported by user-zgrrd487 business

Trader Joe's, Southeast Chkalov Drive, Vancouver, WA, USA

305 Southeast Chkalov Drive, Vancouver, 98683 Washington, United States

On Saturday 2/23/19, I purchased the “fresh” goat cheese and sundried tomato pasta, spinach & Kale dip, organic broccoli.
I prepared the pasta according to the directions, and added salsa that was purchased also.
I ate at about 9:00 PM that evening.
I woke up at ~2:30 AM feeling nauseous. I threw up and had diarrhea from then until this morning. My doctor ruled out the 24 hr flu and suggested I may have gotten food poisoning.
I have the receipts, and packaging with the dates, batch numbers, if there are other reports and this could corroborate the source if in fact this was food poisoning from one of these products. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting
