Spinach Suspected in Illness - Trader Joe's, Naperville Illinois

3 years ago reported by user-ckmmm893 business

Trader Joe's, West Gartner Road, Naperville, IL, USA

44 West Gartner Road, Naperville, 60540 Illinois, United States

I added spinach to my vegan sushi last night early evening. Day after rice I had the previous night no issues previous day, freshly made. Spinach is the only item I’ve eaten that was different, newly purchased. I’ve had extreme bloating and cramping, extreme body aches, hurts to touch, nausea, fowl smelling gas, headache, loss of appetite. It’s been 20 hours since. | Symptoms: Nausea, Headache, Bloating, Loss of Appetite, Body Ache, Gas, Cramps

This sounds more like flu vs foodborne pathogen but it's common to blame the most recent food. Were you checked for listeria? How long did the symptoms last? Are there recurring or lingering symptoms?
