Veggie Soup, Salad Illness - Whole Foods Market, San Francisco California

1 year ago reported by user-qbgy8943 business

Whole Foods Market, 20th Avenue, Stonestown, San Francisco, CA, USA

3251 20th Avenue, San Francisco, 94132 California, United States

We've eaten prepared food at Whole Foods many times without any trouble and it's always really good. This was first experience we've had with food poisining.

A few days ago, we ordered two prepared soups (in plastic containers), also a prepared salad (in a plastic container) with goat cheese, nuts; we oredered rice with ginger and scallions. (The rice dish was from the warm food bar, was the only one that wasn't packaged.)

Everything tasted great and looked fresh. We ate just one of the two soups and saved other for later.

Two of the three of us had food poisining symptoms that night with decreasing symptoms over the following couple of days.

We figure it was probably not the rice dish since one of the two of us who were sick didn't eat it. The most likely culprit could be the salad? We saved one of the soups until later and had it without any issues.

One of the three of us felt run down for a couple of days, she didn't have same symptoms the other two of us had.

None of the food had meat in it (we're vegetarians). | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea
