Rodents, Roaches Close Eatery - Yi Palace, Wilmington Delaware

The Division of Public Health ordered the restaurant to close due to "gross, unsanitary conditions," according to the inspection report. This is the second time the restaurant has been ordered to shut down in less than two months.

During the inspection, the state official saw mouse droppings behind the front bar area and in the dry storage area, which is near the restrooms. Droppings were also found behind the chest freezer in the kitchen.

"Numerous amount of dead roaches observed on top, under and around dish machine and warewashing area," the inspector wrote in the report. Dead roaches were also seen in a knife container, in a slicer, under refrigerated coolers and by a water heater
