A friend who loved this small strip center eatery invited me to dinner on Sunday night, 11/28/17. It was later, 8:15 pm, maybe close to closing. I followed the directions, using a small number of mini scallops and a small filet of fish, the rest plain veggies, celery, onions, etc. Garlic powder, and some herbs. I did not expect the amount of oil used in preparation to be as excessive and flowing as it was. Nevertheless, I worked around it a bit, but an hour later, I already felt nauseous. By midnight there was no point in denying the food was a mistake.My friend ordered a Thai Veggie Bowl with extra rice, which absorbed some of the oil and she had leftovers to take home. Apparently her food didn't agree with her either and she reported the same problem, and noticed how much oil had been used in her dish the following day.
"Yummy Yummy is no longer my favorite place," she said. Perhaps the non-Asian cooks were tired, or bored or just wanted to leave and didn't prepare the food well. I missed work on Monday and still feel waves of nausea and leg cramps. MSG is a big culprit in muscle spasms for me and they were extreme.
