I'm suspicious that my son, daughter, and husband got food poisoning from a pineapple purchased at there. See More cleaned up after all three of them repeatedly and slept by my sick children's sides and fully expected to get sick. Our daycare teacher said several kids had some kind of stomach bug but I know a lot of people in the area shop at there--it is crazy popular here! Our family of seven, 4 adults and three children, 3 and under went to the Mahakiki Restaurant at the Hotel on 12/13/2022 for breakfast. We each had different entrees but all ate the seasonal fruit cup with assorted berries, melon and pineapple. No additional meals were eaten... See More when five to seven hours later, 2 Adults experienced nausea, and severe vomiting and diarrhea. One toddler had vomiting. My family went to here, and every attendee came home sick, and was throwing up. The food was the only food we had that day, other than the local breakfast spit we've been eating every morning. We were at Makahiki restaurant in a Resort celebrating my birthday, soon after we finished our meal, my husband said he’s not feeling well, he had abdominal pain. Went to the bathroom, he had mild diarrhea. On our way home, he burped a lot, we thought it... See More was just indigestion, he felt nauseated at that time. When we got home, he threw up a bit. An hour later, he couldn’t sleep because his abdominal pain was still there. He got up and threw up violently for like 3 minutes. My sister in law and I didn’t have any problems. We are suspecting it’s either his ice tea or the butter sauce on his steak that caused the problem cuz that’s the only things he had that’s different from us.
