It is overly undercooked, tastes of rubber, and has had traces of plastic inside (not fat, rubberized plastic), pieces large enough that you could pull them out with your hands. The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST 34657” or “P34657” inside the USDA mark of inspection, and were produced from July 15, 2022, through July 20, 2022. The problem was discovered by FSIS during follow-up procedures after a routine FSIS product sample confirmed positive for Listeria monocytogenes.

FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ refrigerators. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

In case you are experiencing listeria monocytogenes symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care. Ate the popcorn chicken from the Deli of the store, and 12-18 hours later while at work (same location) with extreme cramps, and one bought of diarrhea.
