Hey! Actually, yes, popcorn could be the source of food poisoning. For example, back in 2012, ready-to-eat popcorn was recalled due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that leads to food poisoning and severe illness. Apart from this, it can be mishandled or contaminated by a sick employee.
