You can get food poisoning from hummus, falafel, and shawarmas. The most commonly reported symptoms from Pita Hot food poisoning are diarrhea and nausea. In June 2019 Pita Hot was shut down following hundreds of customers reported illness that was later identified as Norovirus.

On June 18th me and 3 friends had lunch at this place, we had grilled chicken, rice, hummus, french fries and salad. Later that evening I had a bad stomach ache and diarrhea.
