You can get food poisoning from eggs, waffles, and other typical breakfast foods. Diarrhea and nausea are the most commonly reported symptoms from Waffle House food poisoning. A Waffle House in Berkeley County SC possibly exposed diners to the Hepatitis A virus between Aug. 24 and Sept. 13, 2019.

First time at a Waffle House. Didn’t have high expectations but place was so nasty. They definitely don’t clean or disinfect. I had the cheesesteak melt sandwich. I think I have food poisoning now or something. Stomach been cramping, feel nauseous, watery diarrhea and chills. Never again.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Chills, Cramps
