The recall was imposed by a prefectural decree and affects products distributed across France. The product was distributed at markets in Besse, La Bourboule, Le Mont Dore, Giat, and Aubière. The recall is expected to end on Monday August 12, 2024.
The recalled product is:
- The "Petits Fromages Fermiers le Chasteau".
- To be kept refrigerated
- Was sold between May 15, 2024, and July 25, 2024.
- LOTS: Farmhouse cheeses produced from week 20 to week 30
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
In case you are experiencing Salmonella symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
