- comments: observed evidence of pest activity on premise during time of inspection, live roach crawling on rear prep table near can opener, 2 live roaches on floor in hallway leading to receptacle area. Noted approximately 13 small and large black flies flying throughout rear prep on cardboard boxes, on prep tables, and flying throughout storage/ dishwashing area. Instructed to contact pest control for service. Must eliminate activity on site. Priority foundation violation. 7-38-020 (a). Citation issued.
49. Non-food/food contact surfaces clean
- comments: observed all prep tables in rear with sliding drawers with excessive amounts of food debris as well as deli display case with excessive amounts of food residues on interior surfaces. Noted observed hood above bread oven with excessive food splatter. Instructed to remove and maintain free of said debris in order to prevent pest harborage.
51. Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
- comments: observed one of 3 handsinks located in deli prep in disrepair. Instructed to repiar and maintain in good condition.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed food debris on shelving racks on floors througout rear prep and dairy cooler near eggs. Instructed to clean and maintain.
