Inspectors found several cleaning, maintenance, and contamination-prevention issues during the inspection. The inside of the ice maker in the front taqueria prep area had slight encrusted debris, and metal shelving and fan covers in walk-in coolers needed detailed cleaning. Walls, ceiling tiles, storage areas, and the mop sink room also needed cleaning and organization.

Other findings included a missing thermometer in a chicken hot-holding unit, an electric fly trap placed above a produce packing area, a broken splash guard near the three-compartment sink, and a plumbing leak under the sink in the rear meat department. Inspectors also noted that washroom doors did not have self-closing devices and that unused or unnecessary items in storage areas could create pest harborage conditions.
