Went to Cava last night around 6:30PM with my 6 year old. Got her a kids bowl (white rice, chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, Greek dressing) and I got the Greek salad with chicken. We got pita bread on the side, after eating most of our bowls we opened the pita that was given on the side in paper bags - I took a few bites, my daughter took one bite - we were sharing so I took both pitas out of the bags and noticed the second one had a bigger than dime size blue mold spore with a bunch of tinier mold spots. I reported it to one of the employees. Around midnight my daughter woke up violently ill with very bad stomach pains and throwing up hourly until around 7am. My stomach began churning around 3am, I had nausea and some stomach pains but did not throw up. It is now 12:30pm and my daughter is still experiencing stomach pains and nausea. We know the pita was not good but she had rice which I did not and I am thinking that may be what caused her to become ill. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
