Undercooked Lamb Suspected Illness - Cava, Arlington Virginia

3 years ago reported by user-xqcgc958 business

CAVA, Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA, USA

4121 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, 22203 Virginia, United States

Have not had any issues with this location before and I order the same bowl every time. Yesterday, I was caught up with work all day and the only meal I consumed was the greens and grains bowl (saffron rice, romaine, harrissa, spicy lamb, tomato+cucumber, persian cucumber, corn and greek vinaigrette + pita bread) did not feel anything till the following morning. Diarrhea and a slight headache. Fast forward to this afternoon, I am insanely nauseous, throwing up and have awful stomach cramps. Cannot even keep water down. Over the last few feeks I have noticed a change in their lamb meatballs. They appear to be under cooked. In which case whenever that happens I tend to set the meat aside. Not sure what happened with last night’s order but safe to say that since I have yet to eat anything else that was the issue. please ensure your meat is cooked thoroughly! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Headache
