E. Coli Risk at Cheesesteak - Charleys Philly Steaks, Anchorage Alaska

9 months ago reported by user-nymb5673 business

Charleys Cheesesteaks, Westover Avenue, Elmendorf Air Force Base, AK, USA

5800 Westover Avenue, Anchorage, 99506 Alaska, United States

Severe diarrhea and nausea woke me up in middle of the night. Diarrhea lasted several hours. I was very sick and dehydrated. I will NOT repatronize this business. Possible e-coli on lettuce and tomato. Poor food handling, very bad. Stay away from this business. I can make my own Philly cheese steak at home. Attached is my purchase receipt. I noticed that the meat was cooked to order but was reduced in portions and was not quite as hot as it should have been. E. coli can cling to unwashed lettuce and tomatoes. Employees not washing their hands and cross contamination from food surfaces are contributing factors. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Dehydration
