This was my first time dining at Cheddar's. I ordered the Chicken Fingers and Ribs Combo with fries which came with a garden salad and ranch dressing. I also shared a croissant appetizer (one) with my Father prior to my meal. I first experienced food poisoning symptoms while sleeping at approximately 2 AM on September 15th, which started with rolling stomach pain that lasted for approximately 7 hours. Was awakened at 9 AM the following morning (September 15th) with severe nausea and vomiting x 6. Symptoms markedly improved throughout the day on September 15th after vomiting. Contacted and spoke with restaurant Manager in the afternoon on September 15th after waiting on hold for nearly ten minutes. He was cold, flippant, dismissive after discussing my situation and symptoms. He was also argumentative throughout the conversation stating "food poisoning symptoms don't manifest until 12-24 hours after consumption" and "it was probably something else I ate that day because they are constantly checking food temperatures". After explaining the onset of my symptoms he commented, "you got sick 6 hours later or 12, which is it?!" which was very condescending. The only food I consumed prior to my meal at Cheddar's that day was a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios and a banana for breakfast. I reassured I wasn't seeking punitive damages, a free meal, etc., but instead to notify the restaurant of my situation. Very unimpressed with my encounter/experience, especially when speaking with a member of management who should always have their customer's best interests at heart.
My elderly Father ordered a different entree and didn't experience food poisoning symptoms whatsoever. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
