Undercooked Chicken; Child Illness - Chick-Fil-A, Asheville North Carolina

2 years ago reported by user-htpnj357 business

Chick-fil-A, Peaks Center Lane, Asheville, NC, USA

21 Peaks Center Lane, Asheville, 28805 North Carolina, United States

I am writing to express my serious concern regarding an incident at Chick-fil-A where my 1-year-old son was served undercooked chicken. He had already consumed a portion of this uncooked food when I noticed the issue and returned it to the counter. Shockingly, the restaurant replaced his meal with the same uncooked chicken from the prior batch, continuing to serve it without discarding it for possible contamination. Furthermore, when I requested a temperature thermometer for quality assurance, the manager responded with uncertainty about its availability, displaying a lack of basic food safety knowledge. This negligence resulted in my son's severe illness, including vomiting and diarrhea, necessitating a hospital visit. Poor resolution from manager, unprofessional on her part and couldn't of handled the situation any poorer. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
