Closure Date: 06-17-2022Cockroach infestation. An inspector visited in response to a complaint that someone found a dead cockroach in their food. The inspector saw live and dead roaches under kitchen equipment, in the server area and by the mop sink. Among the nine other violations, the cook said that food-contact surfaces are washed but not sanitized, and that cooked ribs are left out at room temperature for several hours to cool down. The restaurant also needed cleaning. An inspector returned the next day but there were still roaches present so the permit suspension remained in place. This was the restaurant’s third consecutive B grade.
