Severe Illness: Drumstick Suspected - KFC, Alma Arkansas

In mid February I decided to get a 3 piece meal with mashed potatoes (& gravy) and coleslaw. The 3 pieces was 2 thighs and 1 drumstick. I get this meal frequently enough with no issues whatsoever. I ate a drumstick and the sides, my partner ate the thighs and sides as well with me but didn't eat any of the drumstick. It wasn't noticeably pink or undercooked, but less than 4 hours later I was unable to stop vomiting, severely nauseous, and had diarrhea. This lasted for over a week of nonstop vomiting and nausea, the diarrhea stopped but only because I was so severely dehydrated. I couldn't keep anything down, even water, and ended up in the hospital when I went into metabolic acidosis. It was so severe they said I could have died if I didn't come in when I did. I only ate here that day so I know for a fact it was that, and I definitely hadn't come into contact with anyone who had a stomach virus, so thats 100% the culprit. I'm just now recovering from it and it's March now. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Dehydration
