Report date: Mar 19, 202610. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: observed hand sink in hot food prep area not accessible. Basin was filled with strainers and used salsa containers. Instructed that sink must be accessible and maintained at all times. Priority foundation violation 7-38-030(c). Citation issued.
37. Food properly labeled; original container
- comments: observed food stored in containers in all the coolers, walk in cooler and dry storage without proper labeling of name. Instructed to person in charge to provide a label reflecting the food item's name when food has been remove from its original packaging.
51. Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
- comments: observed drainpipe leaking under hand washing sink in rear warewashing area. Instructed to repair leaking drainpipe.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed excesive grease, dirt, spills, etc , on walls, on pipes, on outlets, behind hot cooking equipment, and cold holding units and along walls in all corners throughout.
56. Adequate ventilation & lighting; designated areas used
- comments: observed dust buildup on fans, light shields in cooking area and ceiling and wall vents in prep and storage areas. Instructed manager to clean and maintain all fans, light shields and ceiling/wall vents.
60. Previous core violation corrected
- comments: noted continued non-compliance from report 2616611 conducted on 04/29/2025. Previous core violations not corrected. They are as follows 10. Observed no handwashing signage at the exposed handwashing sinks in the front and rear prep areas and in the men and women washroom areas. Instructed to provide. 39. Observed improper storage of food items (limes, oranges, salsa and tortillas) in boxes stacked on the floor in the walk-in cooler and box of shrimp on the floor in the walk-in freezer. Instructed to store food items 6 inches from the floor on shelving unit. 56. Observed no light bulb shielding/covering over light bulbs over the stove/grill in the food prep area and in the men washroom. Instructed to provide. 58. Observed certified food manager on duty with no allergen training certificate posted. Instructed to provide. Instructed to seal or paint to provide a smooth and easily cleanable surface. Must correct core violations by the date on the report. Priority foundation violation 7-42-090. Citation issued.
