Lucky Charms, Albany, CA, USA

Albany, California, United States

Unfortunately I had to stop buying and eating my favorite cereal ever Lucky Charms has been my favorite cereal for 50 years now since I had my first bowl at 4 years old, and my kids n grandkids followed in my footsteps!! Even named one of my cats Lucky Charms which we call Charmie for short n she n my other cats all love to eat the marshmallows as a treat but Charmie is rhe only one who wil do tricks for em!! Sadly since me my son n 2 of my granddaughters became sicker than we normally felt after eating the cereal brand only didn’t last for more than a day and with way more symptoms than the normal green runny diarrhea , headaches n nausea as though it felt to be deathly sick thinkin it was Covid til we all tested negative daily but continued with diarrhea vomiting nausea n hot n cold chills for days obviously wasn’t covid or deathly we have chosen to end the family tradition n Lucky the Charmie will be the only Lucky Charms that will ever come into our homes again.. 💔🤮

Infinite Herbs LLC of Miami, Florida, is voluntarily recalling 2.5-ounce packages of Infinite Herbs fresh organic basil sold between February 1 and April 6, 2024, and bearing the UPC 8 18042 02147 7 (see photos attached) because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The … See More
recalled product was shipped directly to Trade Joe’s retail distribution centers in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Virginia and to two Fruit Center Marketplace stores in Massachusetts. Based on its food questionnaires and epidemiological data to date, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported that 12 illnesses are likely related to this recall.

Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.

Infinite Herbs initiated the voluntary recall after the FDA notified it of the CDC's information.

No other products distributed by Infinite Herbs are affected by this recall—non-organic basil in any package and other package sizes of organic basil are not included in this recall. The company is conducting this recall with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration's (FDA's) knowledge.

The recalled product is out of date and no longer available for sale, but consumers are urged to check their refrigerators and freezers and not consume the recalled organic basil if they have it.

In case you are experiencing Salmonella symptoms, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
