Inspectors found significant food safety violations during the inspection. A handwashing sink in the front prep area was blocked by stored desserts, and another hand sink had utensils inside it, making the sinks unavailable for proper handwashing. These items were removed during the inspection, and a citation was issued. Inspectors also found a major pest issue, including live roaches in front and basement prep areas and about 100 or more small flies in first-floor and basement prep areas. A citation was issued for the pest violation.Additional issues included a slow-draining staff restroom hand sink, a gap under street-side doors that could allow pests to enter, food debris buildup on equipment and storage areas, and dirty floors in prep, dishwashing, cooler, utility, and basement storage areas. Inspectors also noted chipping paint, dusty ceiling vents, and items stored improperly on the floor or too close to walls.
