We purchased a family box including 2 Big Mac's, 2 Chicken n Cheese Burgers, 4 small fries and 4 waters (which was not offered at the drive through, I had to ask for them) on Friday 8th April 2022. We all spent the night rotating to the toilet with diarrhea, stomach issues including nausea the following day. I called them and asked to speak with the manager about it 9th April 2022, I spoke with a female who said she was the manager, however, during the conversation she was not and of course the manager was not available.
I went in to the serving area yesterday afternoon 9th April 2022 and presented the purchase document to receive a refund, the lady went back to speak with someone and them returned. I looked to my right and a girl was sipping on something and giving me dirty looks as well as the guy on her left.
The lady that attended to my enquiry on the till was nice enough and offered me a refund, yet no apology.
The service there needs to be ramped up, Customer Service training is indeed required. You are not just dealing with providing a product, this product needs to comply with food and safety standards. I think the staff are very in need of treating customers with respect and ensure that the products are just not thrown in the bag, mine were strewn all over the place which raised alarm bells.
Again sadly, when you hire staff of such a young age, extensive training is required. The general consensus with them is this is a part time job to earn extra money and nothing else.
get some customer service training programmes in place. Ensure that the food is handled, complied and delivered with health and safety standards. An investigation is surely required in this outlet. Today 10 April 2022 we are all still unwell. Does a refund justify giving customers food poisoning? | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
