- comments: noted over 20 rat droppings on the floor at the liquor room and bar, all at the basement food prep area. Instructed to detail, clean, and sanitize affected areas, eliminating pest activity. Instructed to consult with pest control company and have premises treated. Priority foundation #7-38-020(a).
47. Food & non-food contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed & used
- comments: noted some use of milk crates for elevation at the kitchen area, dishwashing area, and dry storage area. Instructed not to use milk crates for elevation to prevent hiding places for pests. Must provide appropriate shelving for storage. All food items must also be stored 6' away from the wall.
53. Toilet facilities: properly constructed, supplied, & cleaned
- comments: noted washrooms on the 1st floor and basement with garbage receptacles and no lids. Instructed to provide trash cans with lids at all women washrooms and unisex washrooms
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: instructed to clean floors along wall base and underneath equipment especially at the kitchen food prep, dish wash washing, liquor room. Must clean and sanitize areas with rat droppings. -noted multiple holes and openings on walls and corner wall base at the kitchen behind the mixer and where ever necessary to prevent hiding places for pests.
