Report date: Jul 7, 202255. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: found a heavy accumulation of dirt on the floors and along wallbases inside the dairy walk-in cooler, the meat cooler prep room, in the cardboard receptacle room/area, in the bakery prep area, and in the juice prep room. Instructed management to detail clean all floors to remove dirt build up, and maintain. Also noted heavy ice accumulation on the floor near the door frame inside the bakery walk-in freezer. Instructed to remove ice, clean, and maintain.
56. Adequate ventilation & lighting; designated areas used
- comments: observed an accumulation of dust and dirt on ceiling and walk-in fan covers throughout the meat and deli department walk-in coolers, inside the juice prep room, and inside the employee washroom. Instructed management to detail clean all fan covers and maintain.
57. All food employees have food handler training
- comments: found multiple expired food handler certificates on site. Instructed management that all food handling employees must complete food handler training and keep a non-expired certificate on site.
