Fell ill last 3 days of trip. Saw doctor at the resort (roughly $500 USD), he took a shotgun approach - said it could be salmonella, parasite, or extreme dehydration. Was able to make it back to the US where I visited my physician, did a stool sample, and confirm that it was salmonella.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Dehydration

My wife and I stayed there during our anniversary around the last week of March 2019 - we both got sick (major Diarrhea) about one or two nights before we left and I remained sick for at least a week or two after my return to the US  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea
