Fish Food Poisoning

The most common fish food poisonings are scombroid and ciguatera. Scombroid is caused by improperly handling of fish producing histamine-releasing bacteria. Symptoms can occur as quickly as 15 mins. Ciguatera is common with tropical and sub-tropical fish and typically causes hot-cold reversal.

(MAPAQ) and the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal. To date, no allergic reactions related to the consumption of these products have been reported to MAPAQ.

The affected products include:

- Coconut Twist (140g)
- Coconut Bread (600g)
- Coconut stuffed with cream (450g)

All lots of these products, which do not have a label indicating the presence of soy, are included in the recall. The products were sold in clear plastic bags bearing the company's name and were available only at the Pâtisserie Harmonie establishment. The products were sold at room temperature.

People who suffer from a soy allergy should not consume the products and return them to the store where they were purchased.

All lots whose label does not contain any mention of the presence of the allergens are subject to recall. The vinaigrette was packaged in a glass jar with a metal lid and sold refrigerated, exclusively at Boucherie Grinder's establishment.

People suffer from a wheat or sulfite allergy, or those with celiac disease or another illness induced by gluten ingestion should not consume the products and return them to the store where they were purchased.
