Hot Pockets have been associated with food safety issues. In July 2021, 380 tons of frozen pepperoni Hot Pockets were recalled due to glass and hard plastic contamination. The problem was discovered when the firm received consumer complaints about additional material in the pepperoni hot pocket product.

Additional information: Got sick after eating one the day before, wasn’t sure it was the hotpocket. Ate another one today and same thing happened.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea
