hours after. I dined in with my family. One member ordered a different salad (also containing romaine) and we all shared appetizers, but I was the only person who became sick. Because of that, I’m suspecting food poisoning rooted to my salad’s dressing. I starting seeing improvements in my health after throwing up my meal. I was able to take some imodium (an anti-diarrheal) and used tums for the gas. Be sure to consult with your primary care provider to ensure these medications are indicated for your use. Soon after I took these medications, I felt able to drink some water and also gatorade (to replenish electrolytes). It took me a few hours before I felt ready to eat.
