Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

Food poisoning from seafood and tacos is possible. Nausea and vomiting are commonly reported symptoms from Rubio's food poisoning and campylobacter is the most commonly reported diagnosis. The bacteria is found in shellfish and meat. Symptoms can include bloody diarrhea, stomach pain, and vomiting.

California chicken bowl (my husband had a different meat) that was the only thing I ate yesterday. Horrible - 6 straight hours of a violent body response and I’m s assuming cross contamination. I will never eat there again, unfortunately through Uber eats night of December 20, 2022. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less

Nausea, vomiting, and an emergency room visit due to shrimp tacos. Multiple members of family affected by the tacos. They each had one taco I believe. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less

I ate an original battered fish taco and a battered fish burrito. It was the only meal I’d had since oatmeal for breakfast. At 4am I awoke, doubled over in abdominal pain. Diarrhea followed. Now, partway through the next day I still have near-crippling abdominal pain and diarrhea. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Stomach Pain See Less

I ordered a steak and cheese sub and brought home half of the sandwich. 8/14/22. I ate the other half on the 15th developed diarrhea and vomiting by the third day I was admitted to hospital with an e-coli infection . | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less

Tonight 6.28.2022, fish tacos  I had nausea and almost vomited just an he or so after eating. You need to allow multiple answers  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less

Shrimp burrito, helped me lose 10lbs in a week
This is exactly what happened to me about a year ago. No exaggeration i hade a shrimp burrito about ten minutes later I was sitting on the toilet and vomiting in the trash can. I haven't ate at... See More any of their food since. I was sick for a whole week, it was horrible I rented a hotel room for a week just so I wouldn't get anyone else in my family sick. Seems to be problematic, more than a simple coincidence. In my opinion further investigation into the persistent nature of these cases should be conducted.. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting See Less

I also reported getting sick the week prior. I just got a call from the local health department this morning and they dismissed the case bc they said Rubio's was a very healthy place to eat.

Chemical poisonings attack the body immediately whereas natural food poisonings may do the same damages but over very long periods of time.

I ordered delivery of a Shrimp burrito. I started to eat the burrito and it was a big one. About 10 minutes after eating, I started getting an upset stomach, and nausea, and then ran to the bathroom because I thought I was going to vomit. I... See More ended up with a bad bout of diarrhea and a fever of 102.3°. I immediately went to bed and fell asleep curled up in a painful ball. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting, Stomach Pain See Less

This seems to be problematic. I had an extremely similar experience. I ordered a shrimp burrito (uber eats delivery) from the Rubios (Grossmont location) and minutes after I ate it I was on the throne with what felt like diahea that had the power to launch me into orbit while projectile vomiting into the trash can. Just thinking about it makes me nauseous. In my opinion this deserves an investigation into the persistent nature of these cases. This happened to me about a year ago (circa early 2021).

My family of four ate dinner here on Tuesday April 12th, 2022. We ate different entree's that had chicken, steak, lettuce, guacamole, etc. That was the only meal the four of us had in common in about 30 hours. The next day all four of us developed... See More nausea and upset stomachs within hours of each other. Two of us had extreme vomiting where they could not even keep water down. One of us had a fever of over 102 degrees for over 12 hours. All of us had stomach cramps and body aches. I did call the restaurant to report it to them but they seemed entirely uninterested and unconcerned. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Something else, Fever, Cramps, Body Ache See Less

I had a bacon shrimp burrito and the green salsa was probably spoiled, they keep that shit too close to the heat and its f**king with the foods natural temperature. I had that shit Wednesday and haven’t been right since (it’s Monday, 3:01am) | Symptoms: Vomiting See Less

I think it was from salmon I had for lunch. It didn't effect me for about 18-20 hours. It happened on March 22, 2022 | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea See Less
