Steak 'n Shake food poisoning can occur and common symptoms are nausea and diarrhea. The most common customer reported diagnosis is Salmonella. The last potential outbreak reported from Steak 'n Shake was a 2018 case in Lansing, MI where an employee tested positive for Hepatitis A.

Went there for the first time with family. At the time food was great and I really enjoyed it. Woke up later that night at around 3am with extreme stomach cramping, vomiting and diarrhea. Its 6am and I'm still in horrible pain and vomiting. Food poisoning  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Cramps

Daughter and I both ate at there and had a burger I had frisco Burger with cheese
2 people grilled onions she had cheeseburger ,fries. In 24hrs we both had same symptoms only place we ate yesterday  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
