我在 2019 年 5 月访问过。待了一天之后，我睡着了，半夜醒来时感到恶心，腹痛和抽筋难以忍受，发现自己至少冲到洗手间 15 次。早上我请和我一起去度假的侄女跑到度假村的商店给我买些佳得乐和任何她能找到的帮助腹泻的东西，她在度假村的小商店里能找到的只是 peptobismo 和 sprite。然后我联系了前台，请派人去度假村外面给我买佳得乐和 Imodium，但似乎没有任何帮助。那天我无法整天离开房间。第三天，在喝了至少 5 个佳得乐并去洗手间至少 20 次之后，我拿了 Imodium，试着享受假期剩下的东西，如果我逗留的话除了佳得乐以外，剩下的时间都无法喝酒或吃任何东西。回到家后，我仍然感觉不舒服了大约两个星期，服用了益生菌 2-3 周，但仍然感觉不到 100％。实际上，本周有个医生预约对我进行各种检查，看看可能是什么。

I went to the Dominican Republic with my family in April and returned on May 4, 2019. I only had food and drink from the resort. After rounds of antibiotics and testing I am still sick I have difficulty eating solid food and have lost 25lbs. Still… 更多

我们到蓬塔卡纳的第一天晚上我和我的男朋友生病了。他生病了五天（发烧、腹泻、呕吐、出汗、幻觉）。我生病了十多天，他们回到英国的热带病中心对我进行了许多测试，但没有发现任何东西。在度假村的医疗中心，我被告知我患有盆腔炎（事实并非如此）和胃肠炎（持续了 10 天以上..）。他们向我们收取了 900 美元的费用，然后带着止痛药和大量的水把我们送回房间。好几天不能吃任何东西，不能走路，受不了... 每小时呕吐三遍... 一场噩梦。
