My daughter has been suffering from intense stomach cramps, along with vomiting and loose stools for the past 2 days. She is trying to be strong and make light of it, but since I don't know the cause of her symptoms, I am legit a nervous wreck!!

Day 2 my sister is violently I'll throwing up in the bathroom. Hotel wants to charge 200 dollars to treat. Wish I found this sooner!

full. We spent hours on the phone with customer service and they would provide an email as the only source of communication.
We all paid the travel insurance after being explained that we would get our money back if we were to cancel; however, when I called to CANCEL, due to a family emergency, I was told that I would receive a credit. Why would I want a credit if I paid for the cancellation insurance.
Apple Vacations advertises “all inclusive” but as soon as we arrived to the airport in Miami, the begging began. The employees told us that if we paid “a tip to the men wearing blue shirts” they would attend us.
While enroute to the resort, I felt like I was going to get robbed. When we arrived to the resort, the drivers requested a tip. The front desk attendant initially told us that the rooms were all full so we couldn’t have adjoining rooms. When we told them that we would give them a tip, they gave us rooms on the same floor.
We waited in the lobby for hours with no air conditioning and I felt very unsafe. We were provided a luggage tag and told to leave our luggage in the middle a full lobby because the rooms weren’t ready.
For lunch, we were directed to a “buffet” the food was out in the open, full of flies. Everything tasted like rubber and had no flavor. There was nothing to do in the hotel besides eat the disgusting food and go to the dirty pool or beach. We were told by employees not to leave the resort because there was a possibility of getting robbed by men in scooters.
The rooms were disgusting and dirty. The floors were sticky, the towels and linens were musky and stained. There were no trash bags, the water bottles that were left in the mini fridge were open and had black mold. The AC was not functioning and there were mold stains on the roof. The water was not potable.
The housekeepers demanded a tip and we provided them with money because we were afraid that they had access to our room and would steal our things.
All 15 of my family members and I got food poisoning and we are still suffering from the stress that we endured during this horrific “family vacation”.
We were told that the check out is at 11am and our transportation would pick us up at 2pm and our flight was at 530. We waited in the lobby with no AC for hours since we were denied the late checkout. We were afraid of being late to the airport, since it said to be there 3 hours before departure. Once again we were told that they would be able to do something if we provided a tip, so we did to the driver and employee that set up the pick up.
I don’t recommend Apple Vacations to anyone and I rate you a 0 out of 10. I will never go to Punta Cana again because of this experience. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

bar by the theater - I had 2 margaritas on the show at the resort. Waitress was serving me. 30 min later started vomiting, bad nausea, excelerated heart beat, fainting. Just me was drinking Margarita, had 2drinks, started vomiting 30-45 min later

We don’t know just all of the sudden 3 days after we arrived at Punta Cana. I think it was the food, I had unexpected fatigue after 3 days I couldn’t get enough sleep for the first day I felt ill and intense abdominal pressure then aches

diseases but didn’t find anything. At the resort medical center i was told I had a pelvic inflammatory disease (which wasn’t true) and a gastroenteritis (that lasted over 10days..). They charged us $900 and sent us back to our room with painkillers and lots of water. Couldn’t eat anything for days, couldn’t walk, couldn’t stand... vomited three times per hour.. a nightmare.

On 5/14/19 day 2 of vacation, patient E.S. came from eating lunch at the buffet and having a drink by the pool, once arrived in room, patient began projectile vomiting and diarrhea at the same time. E.S. did not feel well and stayed in room the remaining

night. She had purchased 2 tickets for Monkeyland for 5/16/19 equaling $158.00. Well, E.S. still did not feel well the following day 5/15/19, therefore she did not leave her room but for Monkeyland on 5/16/19 and was told she could not participate due to being ill and she would get the monkey's sick. Some of the Dominicians attempted to assist E.S. with Lemon and salt for a remedy but she could not gather enough energy and went back to room, during this time the diarrhea persisted everyday 10-14 times a day. The day of departure Evette was still very ill but was able to take the ride/flight for home. Once in the airport the weakness and fullness in her abdomen increased, this requiring full assistance to and through the Miami airport. Once arriving back in Cleveland, Ohio, E.S. was taken to Metrohealth emergency in Ohio around 130am on 5/19/19 and transported to Main Campus Metro health hospital where it was determined she had developed an Small bowel obstruction while away. food poisoning, kidney damage, and dehydration. She has been hospitalized for 3 days, also missing work due to hospitalization. She was unable to interact the entire vacation, resulting in her lying in bed the entire time, weak, fatigue, and lethargic with discoloration of skin; unable to eat, poor mobility and discomfort. She saw someone/Dominican on the bus for Monkeyland, who attempted to treat with the remedy listed above but also stated he would not recommend the hospital in Punta Cana, DR. This is why care was waited until arriving back home. E.S. was in good health on 5/13/19 the initial date of arrival to resort
