Wife got sick after 4 days at Secrets Royal Beach. Started with nausea. Then brutal vomiting. Fewer 39C
She felt that bad so we had to stop plane on way back and call emergency.

Possible Parasitic Food Poisoning

Spent a week there with no issues. Arrived back in the U.S. on Monday. Started severe cramping on Friday. Diarrhea started on Saturday and still going on (now Wednesday). Due to the delay in symptoms, I wondering if it isn’t parasitic in nature.

My husband had salmonella bacteremia in his blood after a week in Punta Cana. He was hospitalized and on an IV after his fever spiked to 103.5 and we couldn't control it. He was septic, sweating, shaking, lost 20 lbs...very sick.
