- comments: observed no written employee health policy on the premises. Management instructed to provide a signed employee health policy for each employee. Priority foundation 7-38-010.
5. Procedures for responding to vomiting and diarrheal events
- comments: observed no clean up procedure or supplies on the premises to respond to a vomit or diarrheal event. Management instructed to provide both. Priority foundation 7-38-005.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed approximately 40 live ants on the floor in the rear dish washing area beneath the 2 door freezer. Additional pest control service is needed to eliminate the pest activity. Priority foundation 7-38-020(a). Citation issued.
49. Non-food/food contact surfaces clean
- comments: clean the hand washing sink in the washroom, convection oven and shelves below the oven, and grill rollers for hot holding unit.
52. Sewage & waste water properly disposed
- comments: observed waste water overflowing and leaking from the top of the grease trap when water is filled and released from the 3 compartment sink. Management instructed to replace or repair the grease trap so that the water from the 3 compartment sink can properly drain. Priority 7-38-030(c). Citation issued.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: clean the floor beneath the exposed hand washing sink in the front food prep area, beneath the 3 compartment sink, around the grease trap and beneath the freezer in the dish washing area. Clean the walls of the washroom and rear storage area next to the fountain pop boxes.
60. Previous core violation corrected
- comments: previous core violation from report #2369477 on 4/21/20 not corrected: 53 - noted the employee bathroom door at the rear area not self closing. Instructed to provide a self closing device at the door and maintain. Priority foundation 7-42-090.
