1933 West Burnside Street, Portland, 97209 Oregon, United States

I ate a sofrita bowl with brown rice, black beans, mild and corn salsa, guacamole, and lettuce for dinner. Later that night, my stomach didn't feel good and threw up. After over 24 hours of throwing up and uncontrollable diarrhea, I recovered.

There are almost no foodborne illnesses that cause symptoms within a few hours. It feels convincing that the last meal eaten is the one that caused the illness but it is only the case if your symptoms are from preformed toxins, such as Staphylococcus aureus toxin. But most illnesses take a few days or more to develop. I used to work in this field. This site is very misleading because it assumes those reporting their illnesses know where they got the food that caused the illness, but they don't.
